The challenge
Sentinel Medical Technologies needed a series of product images for the launch of its new TraumaGuard System, a medical device designed to continuously monitor intra-abdominal pressure, urinary output, and core body temperature. The imagery needed to clearly present the complete system while also highlighting its individual components and intricate details.
Our approach
Using the provided CAD files and photographic references, we created a series of ten renderings, including overhead views of the complete system and detailed close-ups of individual components. Three distinct layouts were developed for the overview images, establishing a consistent foundation for the rest of the collection.
A key challenge was creating clean, intentional pathways for the system's cords while maintaining a natural arrangement across each composition. Photorealistic materials, textures, and controlled tabletop lighting completed the scenes, with the final images rendered at 6K resolution for maximum flexibility.

Creating the TraumaGuard imagery in 3D gave Sentinel Medical Technologies precise control over the presentation of the entire system. Components could be positioned exactly where needed, while the cords could be arranged and adjusted without the limitations of a physical photoshoot.
Rendering the images at 6K also gave the client greater flexibility beyond the original compositions. The additional resolution allowed images to be cropped and reframed for new variations and applications while still maintaining a high level of detail and image quality.
