Six colors, six worlds: colorful 3D lifestyle renderings bring The Slipps Co.’s new line of children’s ballet shoes to life.

The challenge

The Slipps Co. wanted to introduce its new line of children’s ballet shoes with imagery that felt as playful and imaginative as the designs themselves. Rather than relying on standard white-background product photography, the goal was to create a unique lifestyle setting for each of the six shoe colors while keeping the product itself at the center of every composition.

Our approach

Working from a physical sample provided by The Slipps Co., we created a custom 3D model with close attention to details such as the stitching, Velcro, and overall shape of the shoe. The model was also art directed to give the shoe a natural, slightly structured appearance, as though a foot were inside it.

From there, we developed six custom environments, each inspired by the color and personality of the corresponding shoe. Clouds, flowers, ballet-inspired elements, flamingos, ice cream sprinkles, and a moonlit night sky became the visual foundations for the individual scenes, with each composition designed to feel fun and kid-friendly while keeping the shoe as the focal point.

The six environments were built around a consistent visual framework, allowing the shoe to remain recognizable and prominent while giving each color its own distinct personality. This approach created a cohesive collection without making the individual scenes feel repetitive.

In total, we produced 36 renderings—six angles for each of the six colors—giving The Slipps Co. a complete library of lifestyle imagery for its website and other marketing applications. The project demonstrates how 3D rendering can turn a single physical product into an entire collection of imaginative visual worlds.
