G4 Triton

With just one month to produce the animation, the challenge was to showcase the G4 Triton and its autonomous capabilities while working from 3D CAD files that were approximately 90% complete, limited photography, and a predefined music track. The animation also needed to incorporate specific feature callouts while maintaining a cohesive visual story from beginning to end.

With the turnaround limited to one month, we began by staging every shot with the client before production began. The planned camera angles, product movements, and feature callouts were mapped to the provided music, allowing the timing and overall structure of the animation to be established before rendering.

Two above-water environments were created using 3ds Max, V-Ray Sun and Sky, and Phoenix FD's ocean shader, with separate daytime and sunset looks. For the underwater sequences, a full underwater environment wasn't practical within the schedule, so we created the illusion using gradient backgrounds, atmospheric lighting effects, and composited floating-particle footage. This approach provided the depth and atmosphere needed for the scenes while keeping production focused on the Triton's design and features.
